- Work-family conflict is a role conflict which happen because of role crash which must be fulfilled by someone in their family life and work life. Work-family conflict divided into four dimention as negative WHI, negative HWI, positive WHI dan positive HWI. Work-family conflict could be a trouble, especially for early adulthood women which just got married which can cause stress to them and psychological strain could be happen. Psychological strain is reaction to stress which could give influence to psychological. the goal of this research is to find out the influence of work-family conflict to psychological strain in early adulthood woman in Jakarta by using convenience sampling method from February to June 2012. The result of this research is work-family conflict give significant influence to psychological strain with F = 45,675 dan p < 0,01. Negative WHI have significant influence on psychological strain with t = 5,118 and p < 0,01 and negative HWI have significant influence to psychological strain with t = 5,999 and p < 0,01. Meanwhile, positive WHI does not have any influence to psychological strain with t = -0,427 and p > 0,05 and Positive HWI does not have any influence to psychological strain with t = -1,320 and p > 0,05 .
