- This research was conducted on purposes to find out the crisis and commitment early adult male in acheiving sexual identiy status and coming out as gay where live in Jabodetabek. Based on the issues, and research purposes, then this study used qualitative methods with the technique of depth interviews with five men early adult aged 20 to 40 years who has attained the status of their sexual identity as a gay living in the Jabodetabek. The study found that three subjects did not having any crisis or problem at the first time realized his attraction to men, but finally he found it when in early adulthood step. While then the two subjects having a crisis or problem at first time realized his attraction to men. After that the results also revealed that there are factors that affect the subject can making a commitment to live as gay are: Acceptance, neighborhood, religious, and thought in the community that looked gay was something wrong.
