- This research aimed to examine the relation between the activeness in participating student's organization and interpersonal competence on coliege students The hypothesis tested whether there is a positive correlation betv.;een the activeness in participating student's organization and interperso nal competence on college students. Subjects were students from Tarumanagara University ( N = 156). A questionnaire were used to collect the data. The questionnaire is divided in tv.10 parts. The first part is to measure the activeness in participating student's organization and the other part is to measure the interpersonal competence . The data were analyzed through Pea1·son' s correlation test. The result shows that there is a pos:tive and significant ccrrelation between the activeness in participating student's organization and interpersonal competence on college students ( r( 154) = 0,465 , p < 0,01).
