- Resilience is universal capacity that owned by a person, group or community to prevent, reduce or overcome the damage caused difficulty. Grotberg (1995) Resilience resources from I have, I am, and I can. Resilience is important in the informal sector such as street hawker. The method of this research are mixed method and sequential explanatory strategy. The quantitative use for research preparation, data for this particular research was collected from 98 participant that were questionnaired. And the result, four street hawker who have high score resilience for interviewed. , Street hawker who have friends, family, and buyer can get high resilience (I have). Street hawker that have care with others, understanding of self, responsible the consequences as a street hawker, filled with expectation of family, hope, faith, and trust can get high resilience. Skill communication, problem solve, adaptation, understanding self and others, manage impulses, and follow government rules causes street hawker can get high resilience.
