- This study aimed to know the myth of violence in dating relationships (Kelly, 2006) with the intention to do acts of violence (Fishbein and Ajzen, 1988) in early adulthood. The hypothesis of this study is whether there is a relationship between the myth of violence in dating with the intention to do acts of violence in early adulthood. This study involved 200 students at X University, is still actively participates in lectures and not married. Subject retrieval method using non-probablity accidental sampling technique. This research is using Pearson Product Moment Correlation technique, and obtained r = 0.539 (p> 0.02) which means that there is a positive relationship between the myth of violence in dating with the intention to do acts of violence.
