  • The aim of this study is to know the correlation between self-esteem with cyberbullying in late adolescent. Cyberbullying is a deliberate aggressive behavior that a person does repeatedly to harm other people using information and communication technologies such as computers, mobile phones, or other electronic devices. Self-esteem is individual judgments both positive and negative to themselves, and essential to the well-being of a person. Subjects were late adolescents aged 17 to 21. The research used quantitative method that was assessed to 406 subjects, with 135 male subjects and 271 female subjects. The result is using Spearman correlation design showed that self-esteem and cyberbullying has r = 0,163 and p = 0,001. The results showed a negative correlation and significant between self-esteem and cyberbullying behavior in late adolescent, which means the higher the self-esteem, the possibility to become cyberbullies decrease.
