- The aim of this study is to discover whether there is a relationship between religiosity and altruism behavior in the nurses at X Hospital West Jakarta. Altruism is a deliberate behavior of helping others without thinking of their own well-being. Religiosity is an action or a concept of someone who has a commitment and perceive a religion in life. The study involves 138 nurses working at X Hospital West Jakarta. This research uses purposive non-probability sampling technique. The result shows that there is a significant positive relationship between religiosity and altruism behavior. However, the correlation test on interpersonal religious with altruism shows that there is not any consequential relationship.
