  • The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between self-esteem and aggression in adolescent that play video game. Self-esteem is a form of selfevaluation of a person as a whole about himself. Aggression is a behavior that intended to harm another person through physical as well as psychological. This subject of research involve 400 adolescent aged 11-20 years old that played video game as participant. The instrument used to measure variables in this study are Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) and Aggression Questionnaire (Buss & Perry) that has been translated by measurement section of Psychology Faculty Tarumanagara University. The result showed that there were significant relationship between self-esteem and aggression in adolescent that played video game (r = - 0.213 and p = 0.000)
