  • "The purpose of this study is to know the description of family satisfaction and family communication on emerging adulthood as child in family. This study is conduct with 400 people age 18 to 25 years old, women and men, single, living with or without family, student or worker. This study using convenience sampling technique. The result shows that emerging adulthood has high family satisfaction and medium family communication. From crosstabulation analysis, female subjects had a higher family satisfaction than male subjects. Female subjects family communication are at moderate levels and male subjects spread in the low and high. Subjects with a younger age have a higher family satisfaction and family communication than subjects with older age. Subjects who live with the family have a higher family satisfaction and lower family communication than subjects who do not live with the family.
