- "A hospital is one of networks that serve people which is so important and face people directly. One of the most important thing in medical service in the hospital is nurse. Work as a nurse will give a heavy task and responsibility. That’s why nurse who are able to give a good dedication on their task is really needed and required, to give their struggling and focus when they are on duty. The purpose of this research is to see whether there is an effect from the workload to work engagement of the nurses in Satya Negara Hospital, Jakarta. This research used a population of all nurses in that hospital which is about 130 nurses. Two kinds of questionnaires were used. They were workload and work engagement questionnaires. The research result showed that there is no effect from workload to work engagement. And based of the research, the value t=-1.93 and p > 0.05 were got. "
