- This research was intended to find out the relation between intimacy and cohesiveness in women collage athletes. According to Sternberg, “Intimacy is an emotional relationship between two or more people which involves self expression that causes trust” (page.13). Then according to Carron, “cohesion refers to a dynamic process which is reflected in the tendency for a group to stick together and remain united in the pursuit of its instrumental objectives and/or for the satistication of member affective needs” (page 17). This research on correlation of Intimacy with cohesiveness in women collage athletes will use questionnaire on 100 participants. This research will use Spearman rho correlation. The results of this study showed that there was a positive correlation between Intimacy and cohesion (r= 0,380, p= 0,000 < 0,05).
