- The research objective is to see the image of hardiness in women age young adults who divorced because of infidelity. Hardiness is a set of personality characteristics that serves as a source of defense in the face of stressful situations. Preview hardiness include commitment, control, and the challenges in dealing with various problems. Retrieval of data in studies using depth interviews that include four people who participated and performed in a span of four months. The results showed that each woman gradually build up the characteristics of hardiness in the face of problems of family life after divorce. Hardiness possessed personality characteristics include commitment, control, and challenges to deal with various situations of life. Hardiness is needed by divorced women to overcome various problems, and emotional distress that is felt after the divorce because infidelity.
