- The marital satisfaction is a subjective individual’s feeling of marriage. Marriage will be said success if couples have been reach satisfaction on their marriage according to their own subjective valuation. The marital satisfaction is important as a postulate to reaching happiness. This study is purpose to describe of the marital satisfaction of wife whom husband has deafness. The study used a interview method, took place within the period between May 2010 until June 2010, and according to the theory of aspects of marital relationship from Victor J. Callan (1991). There is four subjects in this study that have husband with severe loss of deafness. Base on the found of study, one subject has been achieved a marital satisfaction with her own expectations, and the other subjects still have hopes in the marriage that haven’t been achieved. So it can say that they hasn’t reach the marital satisfaction yet.
