- This study investigates the pattern of anxiety in men who have diabetes melitus type 2. Four subjects with diabetes melitus were interviewed between August 12th, 2009 and February 10th, 2010. Their age was between 46 and 58 years. All 4 subjects had erectile dysfunction, anxiety and various other symptoms. The biggest consequences of anxiety were increased problems with their wife and decreased intimate relations with their wife. Social life with their children, friends and colleagues was affected as well, but less severely. In order to cope with the anxiety the subjects used different methods, such as talking with the doctor, living healthy and performing other daily activities to distract from the anxiety.
