  • Anxiety in facing the world of work is the insecurity that occurs when individuals are experiencing feelings of pressure to face the world of work because of lack of opportunity in a particular occupation or profession. One of personality variable that can control the level of anxiety and individual behavior is the locus of control. Locus of control is individual beliefs in his ability to control events in life. The sample in this study is the early adults 21-28 years old who are college graduates, have not worked, and was looking for a job. This study uses a quantitative non-experimental, correlational design. Data analysis using Spearman correlation test. Results of data analysis, internal locus of control and the anxiety facing the world of work shows that r (37) = ,13; p > .05. Results of data analysis, external locus of control and the anxiety facing the world of work shows that r (47) = .167; p > .05. Can be concluded that there is no relationship between locus of control and the anxiety in facing the world of work in early adult.
