- The young mother tends to feel panic when they find their baby’s change not appropriate with normal development. The responsibility of taking care an autism child with will be very heavy. That’s the reason, why mother’s of autism child must to have adjustment. There are three appropriate things of adjustment, which are resources of adjustment, characteristics of adjustment, and form of adjustment. The purpose of this research is to know how young mother adjusts to her autism child. The subjects of this research are four young woman who are 20-40 years old, and have an autism child. The research conducts to qualitative research with interview and observe. Technique of sampling is purposive sampling. The result of this research is the young mother have adjustment correlated with education and relationship with other. Two of four subjects, who are not helped by others show negative characteristics and use a violence to take care her child.
