- The purpose of this research is to find out adjustment model of blind people in post natal phase caused by accident. Adjustment is a dynamic process that did by every individual who want to adapt with their environment. Blindness is unable to see or not working eye’s function as normally. This research’s data was made by using interview method which is in-depth interview that was participated by two subjects. The subjects of this research are wife and husband that blind caused by two different accident when they not yet know each other ‘till they have a child. Based on the interview that has done to this couple, took the conclusion that adjustment model they used is by active to follow the condition of their environment. This model is called autoplastis. The husband is better than his wife in doing adjustment base on characteristic adjustment theory from Haber and Runyon.
