  • Achievement, according to Winkel (1984), is a level form of outcome that is showed by someone after conducting an education or training. Achievement is influenced by several factors, one of them is a personality type. Personality type that is used in this research is based on Eysenck theory, that is introvert and extravert personality type. The objective of this research is to know the presenceof the difference of achievement between university student which introvert personality type and extraovert personality type. The data is obtained from 126 , university students from Faculty of Psychology whose age are 18-21 years old, class of 2001 Tarumanagara University. The research analyzed by t-test and also assistance by SPSS 11.00 version program. This research used 2 measure instruments (1) the questionnaire of personality type, (2) GPA. The result from this research that is average from introvert personality type is 29029 (5 , 0,40699) and for extravert personality type is 26753 (3 = 0,41345). Personalitytype average for two clusters that mentioned are different in significantlyt (69)2,337, p < 0,05. The result proved that Eysenck's theory that is introvert personality type do better in school than extravert personality type, particularly in more advanced subjects.
