- The purpose of this research is to find out the correlation of interpersonal competency and prejudice toward opposite sex at adolescent. The samples of this research are 279 adolescents with age ranges from 18 to 24 years old. The data is taken using questionnaire and processed with SPSS program for windows ver. 13. The processing technique used Spearman`s rho. The result of this research shows that there is a correlation of interpersonal competency and prejudice toward other sex in negative way at adolescent, for both male (rxy = -0,614 with p<0,05) and female (rxy = -0,683 with p<0,05). It means, more competence someone in form, built, and maintain relationship with others, he/she will has less negative thoughts, negative feelings, and negative behaviors toward his/her opposite sex.
