- The aim of this study is to find the difference of shame feeling between men and women and the difference of guilty feeling between men and women. Shame is the result of failure when a person evaluate them self as the reason they failed. Guilt is the result of failure when a person evaluate their action or what they did as the reason they failed . The participants for this study consisted from 418 X University under graduated students who failed in any subject in even semester 2004/2005. Data was obtained using questionnaire and processed with SPSS For Windows software ver 12.0. Using Independent Samples T-Test, the result for shame t(416) = 0,329, p > 0,05 showed that there is no difference of shame feeling between men and women. And the result for guilt t(416) = 0,383, p 0,05, showed that there is no difference of guilty feeling between men and women.
