  • Prosocial behaviour is a any act that helps or is designed to help other, regardless of the helper’s motives. A person who help will feel happy and joy because he or she feel have meaning to others. In psychological literature, happiness is called subjective well-being. Subjective well-being is welfare or happy feeling that emerges when a person feel satisfied with his or her life, often have positive emotion, and less or seldom have negative emotion. The purpose of this study is to find correlations between prosocial behavior and subjective well being in adolescent. The sample of this study is adolescent in SMA X Kediri there are 309 subjects. Sampling method that used is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling. Data collecting was used a questioner. Result analysed by Spearman correlation a rs= 0.337 with value of p (0.000) < 0.05, that means positive correlations between prosocial behaviour and subjective well-being in adolescent. Adolescence who often do prosocial behavior make they more be happy.
