- Objective: To understand the effect of guava leaf infusa (Psidium guajava, linn) toward Ascaris suum, goeze In vitro. Methods : Experimental laboratoric, with post-test only control group design using adult Ascaris suum, Goeze divided into five groups. NaCl 0,9% for negative control, intervention using 60%, 80%, and 100% concentration of guava leaf infusa, and pyrantel pamoate 5mg/ml solution for positive control. Observation is done in every hour until 7 hours and the death worm is counted. Data is analyzed with One Way ANOVA test continued with Post Hoc Least Significance Difference (LSD) significant (p<0,05). Result : The number of death worm is increase in proportion to the increase of guava leaf infusa consentration, start at 60% to 100%. From statistical analysis, this can be concluded that 100% guava leaf infusa has an equivalent effectiveness to pyrantel pamoate that is drug of choice for askariasis. Conclusion : From the research result, it can be concluded that guava leaf infusa has effect toward Ascaris suum, Goeze In vitro. Keywords: Guava Leaf Infusa, Ascaris suum, In vitro
