  • ABSTRACT THE ANALYSIS OF X-RAY DIFFRACTION PATTERNS IN THE Nd6Fe13Sn, Nd6Fe13Ge DAN Nd6Fe13Si MATERIAL POWDER USING RIETVELD GSAS METHOD By Siti Wijayanti M. 0202043 A software was made for changing format of XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) Shimadzu 6000 output data that appropriate to format of GSAS (General Structure Analysis System) input data by using a language of Free Pascal version 2.0.2 program. The analysis pattern of X-ray powder diffraction in Nd6Fe13Sn, Nd6Fe13Ge and Nd6Fe13Si alloy using Rietveld GSAS method was done not simultaneously. After refinement parameters, it can be concluded that the crystal structures are tetragonal. Then, we can find the residue and the constanta. The residue of Nd6Fe13Si alloy are Rp = 1,21%, Rwp = 1,57% and c2 = 1,984 for 10 variabels and the lattice constanta are a = 8,0528(28) Å and c = 22,812(7) Å. Meanwhile, the residue of Nd6Fe13Ge alloy are Rp = 1,29%, Rwp = 1,74% and c2 = 3,958 for 9 variabels and the lattice constanta are a = 8,0588(10) Å and c = 22,889(4) Å. Next, the residue of Nd6Fe13Sn alloy are Rp = 1,74%, Rwp = 2,30% and c2 = 8,989 for 10 variabel and the lattice constanta a = 8,0941(5) Å and c = 23,3894(25) Å.
