In the information field, the computer really was needed as aids in the progress of information delivery. Moreover the mobile phone that already did not become the luxurious thing moreover was needed for the communicating smoothness. One of the important information in the tourism field was the existence of the map of the tour that was easy to be applied anywhere and at any time. To facilitate the communities especially tourists, it were needed by the application of the map that was packed in the form of multimedia that could be applied in the mobile phone so as more was covered. In this case, the application developed was the mobile application on tourism map of Yogyakarta. The aim of this research is to develop mobile application on tourism map of Yogyakarta. As well as, to give the alternative to more efficient digital system of map information. It was concluded that with the existence of the application of the map of this tour, the tourists found it easily to get information about areas of the tour that will be visited. This application also cultivated the interest of the community in visiting to the area of the tour that was not yet visited or even was in no way known. Key Word : application, mobile, tourism map.
