- This research is titled “Effect of National Income, Inflation and Deposit Interest Rate on Private Consumption in Indonesia”. This study aims to determine the effect of variables of National Revenue, Inflation and Deposit Interest Rate of Consumption by Indonesia Society. The data that uses in this research is secondary data which derived from Bank Indonesia’s data (BI) and Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), the data use quarterly data from the first quarter of 2000 to the second quarter of 2009. To analyze the data, this research use ECM (Error Correction Model) method, ECM is a model that is used to correct the equation of regression among the variables that individually are not stationary in order to return to equilibrium in long-term value with a requirement of the existence of cointegration relationships among variables constituent. The test statistic involves the t-test, F test, and R2 test (coefficient of determination) as well as the assumptions of classical test covering multicoleniarity test and autocorrelation test. The results of this research states that the National Income, Inflation and Deposit Interest Rate has significant effect to society consumption in long term, while in short term National Income, Inflation and Deposit Interest Rate has showing result insignificantly.
