- The purposes of this research are to determine the contribution of: (1) teacher’s professional competence toward teacher learning skills in physics, (2) achievement motivation towards teacher’s learning skills in physics (3) teacher’s professional competence and achievement motivation towards teacher’s learning skills in physics at the secondary schools in Salatiga. This research used quantitative methods. The sample was 84 of totally 117 physics teachers. The data collection technique used Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used linear and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that there are a contribution of: (1) teacher’s professional competence toward teacher’s learning skills in physics; (2) achivement motivation towards teacher’s learning skills in physics; and (3) teacher’s professional competence and achievement motivation towards teacher’s learning skills in physics at the secondary schools in Salatiga simultaneously.
