- This study aims to determine The effect of Job Characteristics andOrganizational Culture on Work Motivation and Employee Performance at PT.Tri Teguh Manunggal Sejati-Kampar, Riau. The research method used isquantitative descriptive. The population in this study were all employees at PT.Tri Teguh Manunggal Sejati-Kampar, Riau and a total sample is 138 people. Theanalytical tool used path analysis using SPSS 21 windows.From the results of the tests that have been carried out, there is a direct influenceof job characteristics on employee performance by 0,153, the indirect effectbetween job characteristics on employee performance through work motivation is0,065, the direct influence of organizational culture on employee performance is0,648 and indirect influence between organizational culture through workmotivation is 0,200, and the effect of work motivation on work performance is0,428. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) isapproximetaly 0,84,7 which means that the variable job characteristics andorganizational culture through work motivation on employee performance are84.7% while the remaining 15.3% is the effect of other variables that are notamputated in this research.
