- The closest environment to an individual is his family in which parental up bringing is very important. Parents are expected to apply Christian Religious Education in the family, through which Godâ€TMs words are taught repeatedly (Deuteronomy 6: 4-9). A family is a gift from God, and thus it is invaluable. The family is the basic institution for building a childâ€TMs attitudes and behavior. If families are good and healthy, the society will also be good and healthy. The main obstacle in the learning process is the existence of a two-way relationship that runs side by side. The two-way relationship refers to the children and parentsâ€TM relationship at home. Parents should be also became a teacher of children at home. Parents should apply the right upbringing which will increase their childrenâ€TMs interest in learning.Keywords : Parenting, Parents, Learning Interests
