- Background: Autism is a developmental disorder that occurs in the areas of interaction and communication with others. Autistic motor development of children with autism is done through the hands by using tools or creative media such as brushes, pencils, paper, scissors, clay, plastisin, foam, and others. One way to improve fine motor in autistic children is by cutting therapy. Cutting is one activity or cutting activity that involves and requires coordination between the eyes, hands, and concentration. This study aims to determine the effect of cutting therapeutic therapy on fine motor enhancement in children with autism in Polewali State Extraordinary School. Research Objective: This is to know the Influence of Therapy Cutting on Smooth Motorics In Autism Children At Special School (SLB) Polewali Mandar State. Research Method: This research design uses quasy experiment using pre test and post test design with 10 respondent samples with total sampling technique of this research using SPSS 21 application with Mc test. Nemar with significance level a = 0.05. Result: The statistical test shows that there is Influence of Therapy to Play Cutting on the Development of Smooth Motoric in Autistic Children in the Polewali Mandar School with P value of 0.031. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study recommended for the institution of Polewali State Extraordinary School for cutting therapy therapy can be used as one of therapy for children with autism to improve fine motor.
- Latar belakang : Autis adalah gangguan perkembangan yang terjadi dalam bidang interaksi dan komunikasi dengan orang lain. Perkembangan motorik halus anak autis dilakukan melalui olah tangan dengan menggunakan alat atau media kreatif seperti kuas, pensil, kertas, gunting, tanah liat, plastisin, busa, dan lain-lain. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan motorik halus pada anak autisme adalah dengan terapi bermain menggunting. Menggunting adalah salah satu aktivitas atau kegiatan memotong yang melibatkan dan membutuhkan koordinasi antara mata, tangan, dan konsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi bermain menggunting terhadap peningkatan motorik halus pada anak autism di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Polewali. Tujuan Penelitian : ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Terapi Menggunting Terhadap Motorik Halus Pada Anak Autism Di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Negeri Polewali Mandar. Metode Penelitian : Desain penelitian ini menggunakan quasy eksperiment dengan menggunakan pendekatan pre test and post test design dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 10 respoonden dengan teknik total sampling penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 21 dengan uji Mc. Nemar
