- Background: In Indonesia reports from the skin and genital diseases of FK Unsrat Manado from 1988-1991 found the incidence of contact dermatitis of 4.45% In RSUD Dr.Abdul Aziz Singkawang, West Kalimantan in 1991-1992 found contact incidence dermatitis as much as 17, 76%. While in RS Dr.Pirngadi Medan incidence of contact dermatitis in 1992 as much as 37.54% in 1993 as much as 34.74% and in 1994 as much as 40.05% .. Dermatitis disease is not indiscriminate, all people both old and young " chance "of this disease. Usually this disease appears in infants aged two years. As the person gets older, this dermatitis disease can disappear by itself. However, in some cases there is someone who during his lifetime affected this disease. This problem is almost evenly distributed in other areas in Matakali Subdistrict. The purpose of this research is to know the general picture about factors related to the utilization of posyandu by under-five mother in Matakali Health Center of Polewali Mandar Regency with analytic observation type with porspective approach study method. The population of this research is mother of balita which is in sub district of Matakali district of Polewali Mandar with number 2389 mother of balita. Sampling is done by purposive sampling method with the number of samples of 100 pita toddlers who visit. The results showed that there was influence between the knowledge of the low utilization of posyandu in the working area of Matakali Public Health Center with p = 0,002 <α 0,05 and there was influence between social culture to low utilization posyandu with p = 0,001 <α 0,05 meaning Ha accepted H0 rejected However There is no influence between the role of cadre toward the low utilization of posyandu with P = 0,498 (p <0,05 means H1 is rejected and H0 is received) It is expected to Matakali Puskesmas Polewali Mandar Regency to add health service unit which can be reached by society
- Latar Belakang: Di Indonesia laporan dari bagian penyakit kulit dan kelamin FK Unsrat Manado dari tahun 1988-1991 dijumpai insiden dermatitis kontak sebesar 4,45% Di RSUD Dr.Abdul Aziz Singkawang Kalimantan Barat pada tahun 1991-1992 dijumpai insiden dermatitis kontak sebanyak 17,76%. Sedangkan di RS Dr.Pirngadi Medan insiden dermatitis kontak pada tahun 1992 sebanyak 37,54% tahun 1993 sebanyak 34,74% dan tahun 1994 sebanyak 40,05% .. Penyakit dermatitis ini memang tidak pandang bulu, semua orang baik tua maupun muda “berpeluang” terkena penyakit ini. Biasanya penyakit ini muncul pada bayi yang berusia dua tahun. Semakin usia seseorang bertambah, penyakit dermatitis ini bisa hilang dengan sendirinya. Namun, dalam beberapa kasus ada seseorang yang selama seumur hidupnya terkena penyakit ini. Masalah ini hampir merata pada daerah-daerah lainnya yang ada diwilayah Kecamatan Matakali Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui gambaran secara umum mengenai faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan posyandu oleh ibu balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Matakali Kabupaten Polewali Mandar dengan jenis penelitian observasi analitik dengan pendekatan porspective study method. Populasi penelitian ini adalah ibu balita yang berada di kecamatan Matakali kabupaten Polewali Mandar dengan jumlah 2389 ibu balita. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 100 pibu balita yang berkunjung.
