- The background of this research is the effectiveness and efficiency of personnel administrators to perform maintenance and repair of computer software in a LAN network. This research aimed to control the turn on/off the remote host and monitor logical activity of computer users. The method used is a blackbox techniques to analyze system output power state S4 and S5, then compare them. Results of the research is a system's ability to control and monitor remote hosts on the LAN. It can be concluded that administrators work more effectively and efficiently for maintenance and repair software.
