- Research on the effects of post-fallow crop residue management and application of PGPR for improving soil fertility Alfisol dry land, and the optimization results intercropped plants, is still rarely done so need to be studied scientifically to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each technique or system, as recommendation cultivation system is effective and efficient in dry land. Based on this, has done research on the management of post-fallow crop residue fiber PGPR application on Alfisol dry land for the cultivation of maize-bean intercropping. This study is a factorial experiment with split plot experimental design, which consists of three (3) factors, namely the management of crop residues (S) as the main factor, application of PGPR (P) as the subplot factor and intercropping system (T) as a child factor -subplot. Crop residue management factor (S) consists of four (4) levels, which is thrown out the rest of the crop planting area (S0), a fresh crop residues buried in the soil (S1), crop residues were burned and buried in the soil (S2) and fermented fresh crop residues and buried in the soil (S3). PGPR application factor, consisting of two levels ie without PGPR (P0) and 5 ml of PGPR application and 5 g Mycorrhizae planting hole (P1). Factor while intercropping system consists of multiple cropping lines (T0) and intercropping diffuse (T1). Each factor is then combined, in order to obtain sixteen (16) and subsequent treatment combination was repeated three (3) times. The results showed that crop residue management, PGPR application and intercropping system, showed no effect on the amelioration of dryland Alfisol. There is a significant interaction between crop residue management, PGPR application and intercropping system on P2O5 content of soil after harvest. In the combined treatment S3P0T0, belonging to the highest levels of P2O5 ground after harvest, amounting to 15.10 ppm. To the physical properties of the soil, both at the age of 50 HST or after harvest, crop residue management turns, PGPR application and intercropping system, showed no real interaction. Post-fallow crop residue management, PGPR application and intercropping system, showing real interaction of the corn crop. The combination treatment showed results S1P1T0 dry weight of corn cobs per plant highest at 896.67 g per plant and the combined treatment showed S3P1T1 dry weight of corn stover highest at 843.33 g per plant. Post-fallow crop residue management, PGPR application and intercropping system, showed no significant interaction of the bean crop.
