Daftar Isi:
  • Indonesian children falling victim to human trafficking experienced human right violations. The case appears to hold true, despite the country’s legal protection to prevent children from human trafficking which comprises the Law No. 35 of 2014 Amending Law No. 23 of 2002 on Child Protection and Law No. 21 of 2007 on the Eradication of the Criminal Act of Human Trafficking. The present paper employs a normative juridical method to analyze legal protection in Indonesia for children falling victim to human trafficking. The legislation of criminal sanction for the perpetrators of human trafficking gives them cumulative sanctions to give them deterrent effect so that they will not repeat their criminal acts.
