- Abstrak Penelitian ini mengambil judul “Pengaruh Perilaku PDI Perjuangan Terhadap Partisipasi Politik Anggota (Studi Kasus Pada Pemilihan Umum Kepala Daerah dan Wakil Kepala Daerah Kabupaten Karo Tahun 2010)”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan analisis deskriptif dan metode korelasi prodect moment. Tehnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari 2 (dua) sumber. Pertama yaitu data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket dan wawancara dengan narasumber, kedua yaitu data sekunder yang diperoleh dari literature-literatur, dokumen-dokumen, peraturan perundang-undangan, penelitian perorangan terdahulu yang relevan. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menitikberatkan pada bagaimana perilaku PDI Perjuangan dengan berbagai aktivitas, bagaimana partisipasi politik anggota PDI Perjuangan serta bagaimana pengaruh perilaku PDI Perjuangan tersebut terhadap partisipasi politik anggotanya pada pemilukada Kabupaten Karo 2010. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari indikator yang telah ditentukan bahwa perilaku PDI Perjuangan Kabupaten Karo yang dinilai dari aktivitas pimpinan partai dalam mengambil keputusan-keputusan untuk mencapai kepentingan terutama dalam penentuan pasangan calon yang akan diusung belum seperti yang diharapkan oleh kebanyakan anggotanya. Kata kunci : Perilaku, Partisipasi, Politik Abstract This study entitled “The Effect of Behavior PDI toward Members Political Participation” “Case Study in the Election of Regent and Vice Regent of Karo Year 2010 “. The method used is quantitative method, with descriptive analysis and correlation methods product moment. The Data collection techniques in this studies was obtained from the 2 (two) sources. The first is primary data obtained through the questionnaire and interviews with informants, the second is secondary data obtained from the literature-literature, documents, legislation, the past individual research relevant. This research focuses on how the behavior of the PDI-P with various activities, and how the political participation of members of the PDI-P as well as how to influence the behavior of the PDI-P to the political participation of its members on the Regent and deputy regent election Karo 2010. Based on the results of the research, of the indicators that have been determined that the behavior of the PDI-Perjuangan Karo are assessed on the activity of the party leadership in taking decisions to achieve the interests primarily in the determination of candidates who will be promoted not as expected by most of its members.
