- In line with the growth of sharia economy, now we have sharia hotel. This research want to see sharia hotel based on product and marketing. This research criteria is Al Qur'an and Al Hadist, since there is no fatwa MUI yet. Three sharia hotel in Yogyakarta taken as a research sample. This research shows that no sharia hotel has a halal certificate from MUI. The halal guarantee just came from hotel management only without any formal guarantee, even for the food. Hotel facilities related to sharia are vary, but tend to minimum. It's better for MUI to state a special fatwa, that can be use as a sharia hotel criteria.
