- Patikan kebo (Euphorbia hirta L) plant is one kind of medicine plant that have been used traditionally by some people. This research aims to determinate the ability of patikan kebo plant extract that extracted using n-hexane, dichlorometane, ethanol, and water solvent on the growth of clinical bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Eschericia coli). Assay of the effect of the plant exstract on growth of bacteria has been carried out using agar diffusion method (Kirby-Bauer). The data was collected by measuring of growth inhibition zone after 24 hours incubation the bacterial test were analized qualitatively. Based on this research result, the activity of patikan kebo plant extract could inhibit the growth of clinical bacteria. Patikan kebo plant extract using n-hexane, diclhorometane, and ethanol solvent at 70% on consentrate capable to inhibit bacteria in intermediate category to Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus sereus, in sensitive category to Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Eschericia colli, and
