- This research aims to: 1) to know the magnitude of the contribution margin of a vanilla farming in district Ganga north Lombok Regency, 2) to know what obstacles/issues faced by farmers of vanilla in district Ganga Lombok Regency North. As for one a vanilla-producing villages i.e. village of Bentek. The contribution margin of a vanilla farming in district Ganga Regency north Lombok i.e. total revenue of Rp. 19.687.500 average per year is reduced by the total variable cost of Rp. 6.969.250 average per year, so the contribution margin from vanilla farming the i.e. Rp 12.718.250 on average per year. Problems/obstacles that often the natural farmer i.e. difficulty in obtaining seeds, because if it takes elsewhere most seedlings die due to not fitting with the area and attack the disease Fusarium (stem rot) is usually much attacking the young plant or a newly planted.
