- 1. NP-Movement in Sasak Meno-Mené dialect used in Terara-east Lombok, Puyung, and Bagu villages is not caused by the changing of Active into Passive forms, but it is by passivization and passive-like verb such as raising verb and adjective, and unaccusativity. 2. The Government and Binding theory can prove the NP-Movement occurring on Sasak Meno-Mené verbs having only passive forms through some tests such as PRO- and Reflexive-tests. The result of this test shows that NP-Movement is not an obligatory. 3. The motivations of NP-Movement caused by passivization and passive-like are to satisfy The Extended Projection Principle (EPP) and Nominative Case. However, those of NP-Movement caused by the passive verbs classified in Precategory (verbs having only passive forms) are not since they do not need any subjects.
