- Abstract-Academic Information System is a system that manages data and perform all the process of academic activities involving all academic community in educational institutions. The Increasing academic data every semester will make the time to be ineffective and efficient if the data still processed manually. By the use of technology, academic information system will be very helpful in facilitating data management, so the process of the data is more reliable than before and it will fulfill the needs of information more quickly, precisely and accurately. To help data processing work faster then required a computerized system. With the establishment of the "Desain of Academic Information System of SMAN 1 Montong Gading Lombok Timur Based On Web". The system can help the school in the processing of academic data so it may minimize any errors in the processing and the storage of data and help minimize the time in the processing process to be faster than manual data processing as before. Based on the result of MOS (Mean Opinion Score) which has been done on 10 teachers and 10 students, obtained by 48% very agree, 52% agree, 0% disagree and 0% strongly disagree. And for the results of tests that have been done on 10 students obtained a result of 48% who strongly agree and 52% who agree, 0% who do not agree and 0% who strongly disagree. Then it can be stated that the system can be used as it should in managing the academic data in SMAN 1 Montong Gading. Keyword:
