  • Heat waste resulted in food production places or processes using heat energy has not been utilized yet. The heat waste is actually able to be used for heating a room using a device that is called room radiator. The objective of this research is to know the effect of mass flow rate and radiator position on the room temperature. The mass flow rates used were 12 g/s, 14 g/s, and 17 g/s while the position of the radiator was arranged (standing vertically in the middle, horizontally in the middle, standing vertically on the side). Devices used in this research are a prototype room with an overall dimension of 1m3 and a fined radiator with an overall dimension of 320 mm x 220 mm x 50 mm respectively. The experimental data analized using heat transfer theory and anova. The results show that the effect of mass flow rate on the room temperature is not significant while the effect of radiator position is significant. The highest temperature (43,77oC) was obtained using the horizontalradiatorin the middleposition at the mass flow rate of 17 g/s.
