- This research is aimed at finding out the effect of using YouTube educational videos for the eighth grade of SMPN 02 Lingsar in academic year 2015/2016. This research used quantitative method with experimental design. The population of this research was the eighth grade of SMPN 02 Lingsar. The samples of this research were VIII. 8 class as the experimental group and VIII. 9 class as the control group. Each class consisted of 35 students. They were determined through cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected by giving pre-test and post-test of multiple choices test with 20 questions for the pre-test and 20 questions for the post-test. The finding of the data showed that the result of t-test was 2.07 while on t-table was 1.99547. It means that Alternative Hypothesis
