- This thesis entitled Tourist Guides’ Speaking Ability in GiliTrawangan of North Lombok Regency West Nusa Tenggara Provincewas intended to find out the English speaking ability of the tourist guide in GiliTrawangan, Pemenang, North Lombok. It involved 5 tourist guides as the representations which were chosen by using convenience sampling and snowball sampling. The data were collected using Audio-recording, Notetaking and analyzed using quantitative method. From the analysis it is found that there were 100% of the respondents categorized as category “good” with rating scale 4.48. Therefore, in general, the tourist guides’ speaking ability in GiliTrawangan was categorized as “good” category.
