- This research entitled “The Analysis of Translation Procedure from English to Indonesian Language of Instagram in Mobile Phone” was aimed at analyzing the translation procedure used in English-Indonesian version of Instagram and finding the most dominant type of translation procedure used. This research used both qualitative and quantitative method and was conducted descriptively. The data sources of this study were 5 main tabs and 12 sub-tabs of Instagram version 12.0.0.11.9162 both in English and Indonesian Language. There were 114 data obtained. The data then was analyzed using translation procedure theory proposed by Vinay and Dalbernet. This theory classifies translation procedure into seven types, namely: borrowing, calque, literal translation, transposition, modulation, equivalence and adaptation. The result of the study revealed that there are six types of translation procedure applied in English-Indonesian Instagram involved: borrowing (30.70%), calque (1.75%), literal translation (60.53%), transposition (5.26%), modulation (0.88%) and equivalence (0.88%). Literal Translation was found out to be the most dominant type used in English-Indonesian version of Instagram
