- This research aims to describe: (1) civic education teachers’ problematics in improving students’ nasionalism attitude, and (2) causative factors of civic education teachers’ problematics in improving students’ nasionalism attitude. This research used kualitative with descriptive method approach research. The findings of this research are: firstly, problematics of civic education teachers in improving students’ nasionalism attitudes are: (1) teacher’s problematics in arranging lesson plan, there are: (a) teachers still not understand how to arrange indicators and learning objectives which are suitable with the arrangement component; (b) time allocation determined is not suitable with the base competency and learning load; (c) the use of learning method and media is not relevan; (d) the arrangement of learning result evaluation instrument is not complete; (e) teacher still not understand about the arrangement of learning activity. (2) teachers’ problematics in learning application, there are: teacher has no effort in improving students’ nasionlaism attitude through opening activity, exemplary, non relevan media application and learning method, and less motivation given to students about the importance of nasionalism. Secondly, the causative factors of civic education teachers’ problematics in improving nasionalism attitude are: (1) internal factors: teachers’ competency are still not maximal and teachers’ work motivation are unstable. (2) external factors: education facility for improving students’ nasionalism attitude is inadequate, the learning sources are still limit, students’ learning motivations are not encouraged by teachers, teacher has never followed any teacher training, and there is no head master
