- This study to aims to determine influence of the Principal Competencies and leadership on job satisfaction of teacher and to determine the effect of direct and direct influence of competence and leadership of the Principal and teacher job satisfaction on job performance of five state Madrasahs teacher in Mataram. The data collecting method was the census method. The population in this study were all teachers who teach in the State of five Madrasah in the city of Mataram. It was conducted that (1) the direct effect of principal competency on job satisfaction of teacher was positive, a very large and significant.(2)The direct effect of the principal competencies on job performance of teachers was negative and not significant.3) The indirect effect of the principal competencies on job performance of the teachers through school leadership was positive, large enough and very significant, Indirect effect of principal leadership on job performance of teachers through teacher job satisfaction was relatively small and positive and significant,
