- The objectives of this study to explore ethical practices of Indonesian banking sector and its impact on financial performance. The content analysis approach and structural equation model are used to verify the ethical practices of 29 listed banks at Indonesian Stock Exchange on 2012-2014 that disclose corporate social responsibility on annual reports. The research findings indicated that banks reflect their ethical behavior on CSR activities related to the internal and external stakeholder. Ethical business practices of banking sector is able to improve operational efficiency and reduce the risk of non performing loans.
