ANALISIS KURVA INTENSITY DURATION FREQUENCY (IDF) DAN DEPTH AREA DURATION (DAD) PADA DAS BABAK
Daftar Isi:
- The Babak River Basin has an area of 222,664 km2 with the length of the main river 54.89 km. Babak watershed is a watershed with high utility and on the other hand the existence of the Babak River has a negative impact in the form of floods. Rainfall input data is needed in flood control building planning. Calculation of rain depth and flood discharge plan with a rational method for the design of hydraulic buildings requires rain depth data in duration with a certain area and rainfall intensity in the duration with a certain return period that can be obtained from the Intensity Duration Frequency (IDF) and Depth Area Duration (DAD) curves. In making the IDF curve, the calculation of the rainfall intensity each time using the hourly rain data with 4 years of rain recording ie from 2014 to 2017. While in making the DAD curve the depth area calculation for each period is obtained from the isohyet map. The analysis of the Intensity Duration Frequency (IDF) curve in the Babak watershed shows that the rainfall intensity is inversely proportional to the rain duration. Based on the curve shape of the IDF curve return period 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 years illustrated it can be seen that the longer the rainy time that occurs, the smaller the intensity of rain that occurs and otherwise the shorter the duration of the rain that occurs, the intensity of the rain more big. Based on 24-hour Depth Area Duration (DAD) analysis shows that the area is inversely proportional to the depth of rain. Based on the curved shape of the DAD curve drawn, it can be concluded that the greater the catchment area, the smaller the depth of rain, and otherwise the smaller the catchment area, the greater the depth of rain.
