  • The purpose of this study is to determine the number of liver flukes in the liver due to re-infestation by evaluating the increase of the number of Fasciola sp. egg per gram (epg) in Bali cattle every month. This research was conducted for 4 months starting from December 2016 until March 2017. Ten cattle of 2-4 years old in the endemic area of fascilosis were used for this reaserch. Egg per gram feces (epg) was determined by sedimentation test every month. This result showes that there were slight increase of fasciolosis infestation by number of epg for the first month (13,38±8,67), second month (14,23±10,63), and third month (18,23±19,41). While there were decreased sharply on the fourth month (5,85±6,90). It can be included that the decrease of infestation may be because maintained of Bali cattle in endemic location, pattern of fedding, maintenance system, snail availability around the barn, changed of water discharge, internal factor of Bali cattle, and there is false negative result.
