- This research was conducted to find out of NDF and ADF of wafer rice straw treated with tapioca starch. The research was conducted at Laboratory of the Nutrition and Feed of Animal Husbandry Faculty, Mataram University from Augustus to September 2010. The materials used in this research were wafer rice straw treated with tapioca starch divided to 6 treatments, were : T0 (Control), T1 (2 % Tapioca starch), T2 (4 % Tapioca starch), T3 (6 % Tapioca starch), T4 (8 % Tapioca starch), T5 (10 % Tapioca starch) with 3 replications. Each treatment used 2 kg of wafer rice straw and fermentated for 1 month. The variable observed were NDF and ADF content of wafer rice straw. Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance based on completely Randomized Design and continued with Duncan’s Multiple range test. The result of research indicated that tapioca starch significantly (P<0.05) influenced NDF and ADF content of wafer raice straw.
