- The use of forests by a lot people of Santong Village is very important because in addition to it‘s potential to improve community welfare, HKmSantong Village also has the potential to support local social and culture, so that its existence needs to be maintained. This research try to find out women's participation in community forest management on several aspects such as institutional governance, forest area governance, and business governance. The method used in this research is descriptive research method. Determination of the sample is determined by proportional random sampling echnique with questionnaire tool to 71 respondents. The data analyzed in this study are the number of women's involvement and the average percentage level of nvolvement with data collection using observation, interview, and documentation echniques. This study shows the participation of women incommunity forest (HKm) management from the aspect of institutional governance which is in the low category, with a percentage level of involvement of 14.0% because women are ess involved in group meetings, issue opinions during meetings, stewardship, and decision-making processes, where women only enough to be involved in managing community forest (HKm) from the aspect of forest area governance which is in the moderate category.
